These Terms and Conditions (the "Terms") apply to every purchase made on the OriginSMP store at https://store.originsmp.net (the "Store"). Together with our Privacy Policy and our Impressum, they explain who we are, how we sell to you and what your rights are.
Please read these Terms before you buy. You will be asked to accept them at checkout, and you cannot place an order without accepting them. We recommend that you save or print a copy for your records. These Terms are available in English only.
1. Who we are
The Store is operated by BLOCKY STUDIOS S.R.L., a limited liability company registered in Romania with Trade Register number J2025024853005 and tax identification number (CUI) 51585490, with its registered office at București-Tîrgoviște 35A, Sat Mogoșoaia, Comuna Mogoșoaia, Ilfov County, Romania ("Blocky Studios", "we", "us", "our"). We are the seller of every product offered on the Store and the party you enter into a contract with when you buy.
OriginSMP is a game network run by Blocky Studios. The Store sells digital content for use on that network: ranks, perks, in-game items, in-game currency, bundles, subscriptions and similar content (the "Products").
2. Contacting us
For questions about an order, a delivery, a payment, a refund or these Terms, contact us at [email protected]. Please include your Minecraft username and your order reference, which you can find on the order page and in your receipt.
If we need to contact you, we will do so by email (when you gave us an address) or through the support channels of the OriginSMP network.
3. The contract
3.1 When you place an order, you make an offer to buy the Products in your basket at the prices shown. The contract between you and us is formed when your payment is confirmed by the payment provider and the order is marked as paid.
3.2 We may refuse or cancel an order before delivery, for example when we suspect fraud, when a price was clearly wrong, when the order breaks these Terms or when you have previously charged back a payment. If we cancel an order you have already paid for, we refund the full amount.
3.3 No contract for the sale of the Products is formed between you and Mojang, Microsoft or any other third party.
4. Licence, not ownership
4.1 The Products are digital content. When you buy a Product, we grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive and non-transferable licence to use it on the OriginSMP network, on the Minecraft account it was delivered to. You do not acquire ownership of the Product or of any intellectual property in it.
4.2 You may not sell, trade, share, sublicense or otherwise transfer a Product or an account that holds a Product, except where the network itself offers a feature for it.
4.3 Products, including in-game currency, have no monetary value outside the OriginSMP network. They cannot be exchanged for real money, cash or any other goods or services, and they are not refunded when unused, except where the law requires otherwise.
4.4 We may change, rebalance or retire game features to keep the network fair and working. If a change substantially removes the main benefit of a Product you paid for, we will offer you a reasonable replacement or a proportional refund.
5. Your Minecraft account
5.1 Before you can buy, you enter the Minecraft name the Products should be delivered to. To see your order history, gift card codes and store credit, you confirm in game that the account is yours, with a one-time code from the /cstore link command.
5.2 You are responsible for making sure the name you enter, for yourself or for a gift recipient, is correct. Products are delivered to exactly that name, and we cannot move Products delivered to the wrong account because of a mistake in the name.
5.3 Keep access to your account secure. Purchases made by someone who has access to your account are treated as made by you, unless you report unauthorised use to us without delay.
6. Prices, taxes and payment
6.1 Prices are shown on the Store in the currency of the Store. The price you pay is the one shown at checkout. Prices are calculated by our servers; any discount, coupon, sale or gift card is applied before you pay and shown in your basket.
6.2 Where VAT or a similar tax applies, it is included in the price or added at checkout, as shown before you pay. Some payment methods other than cards may add a processing fee. When they do, the fee is shown next to the method and included in the total before you pay.
6.3 Payments are processed by our payment providers, which may include Stripe, PayPal, Skrill and Paysafecard. You are redirected to the provider's secure page to pay. We never see or store your card details. Your provider may charge its own fees, for example for currency conversion.
6.4 By paying, you confirm that you are authorised to use the payment method. You agree not to use proxies, VPNs or false information to hide your location, to bypass restrictions or to obtain a price that does not apply to you.
6.5 We check payments for fraud. Some orders are placed in manual review before delivery, for example orders with a high amount or orders where the country of payment does not match your location. Reviewed orders are delivered after approval, or cancelled and refunded.
7. Delivery
7.1 Products are delivered automatically to your Minecraft account on the OriginSMP network after your payment is confirmed. Most deliveries complete within a few minutes. Some Products are delivered the next time you join the server.
7.2 If a Product has not arrived within 24 hours of payment, contact us with your order reference and we will deliver it or refund it.
8. Subscriptions and timed Products
8.1 Some Products are subscriptions. A subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period, at the price shown when you subscribed, until you cancel it. You can cancel at any time through your payment provider (for example in your PayPal account) or by contacting us. After cancellation, the Product stays active until the end of the period you have already paid for.
8.2 Some Products are timed and expire after the period stated on the Store. They are removed automatically when they expire.
9. Gifts, gift cards and coupons
9.1 You can buy a Product as a gift for another player. You remain the buyer and the contracting party. The recipient only receives the Product.
9.2 Gift cards and coupon codes can only be used on the Store they were issued for, have no cash value, cannot be exchanged for money and may have an expiry date or usage limit shown when they are issued.
9.3 When you use a creator code, part of what you pay goes to that creator; it does not raise your price. Some creator codes also give you a discount, shown in your basket before you pay.
9.4 Offers shown in your basket or after a payment (for example a package at a reduced price for a limited time) are optional. Their price and time limit are shown with the offer, and each offer can be used once. Partner offers lead to another company's website, under that company's own terms.
10. Your right of withdrawal (consumers in the EU and EEA)
10.1 As a consumer, you normally have the right to withdraw from an online purchase within 14 days without giving a reason.
10.2 The Products are digital content that is not supplied on a tangible medium and that we deliver immediately after payment. Under Article 16(m) of Romanian Government Emergency Ordinance no. 34/2014, which implements Directive 2011/83/EU, the right of withdrawal does not apply once delivery has started with your prior express consent and your acknowledgement that you lose the right of withdrawal. At checkout we ask for this consent and acknowledgement, we only start delivery after you give them, and we record them with your order.
10.3 If you did not give that consent, or if delivery has not started, you may withdraw within 14 days of the purchase by sending us a clear statement by email at [email protected]. It is enough to send your statement before the 14 days end. We refund all payments received from you without undue delay and no later than 14 days after we receive your statement, using the same payment method you used, at no cost to you.
11. Faulty Products and your legal rights
11.1 We must supply Products that match their description and work as described. If a Product is not delivered, does not work or does not match its description, contact us. We will fix it, deliver it again or refund it, in line with Romanian Government Emergency Ordinance no. 141/2021 on contracts for the supply of digital content and digital services.
11.2 Nothing in these Terms limits the rights you have as a consumer under the mandatory law of the country where you live.
12. Refunds and chargebacks
12.1 Apart from the cases in sections 3.2, 4.4, 7.2, 10 and 11, completed purchases of digital content are not refundable. A ban or mute applied for breaking the rules of the OriginSMP network does not entitle you to a refund.
12.2 If you have a problem with a payment, please contact us first. Opening a chargeback or a payment dispute without contacting us is treated as a request to reverse the purchase: the Products of that order are removed from your account, and we may block the account from buying on our stores until the dispute is resolved. If the dispute is decided in our favour, we may restore the Products.
13. Rules of use
You may use the Store only for personal, non-commercial purchases. You must not:
- interfere with the Store, its security or its payment flows, or try to access data that is not yours;
- copy, scrape, resell or reverse engineer the Store or the Products;
- use the Store for fraud, money laundering or any unlawful purpose;
- buy Products in order to resell them or to trade them for money.
We may block access to the Store for anyone who breaks these rules.
14. Age
You must be at least 16 years old to buy on the Store. If you are under 18, you may only buy with the permission of a parent or legal guardian, who is responsible for the purchase.
15. Our liability
15.1 We are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breach of these Terms or of our negligence. Loss or damage is foreseeable if it is an obvious consequence of our breach or if both of us knew it might happen when the contract was made.
15.2 We are not responsible for loss that is not foreseeable, for interruptions of the game servers or of third-party services (such as Minecraft authentication or your internet connection) that are outside our control, or for losses arising from the use of the Products for business purposes.
15.3 We do not exclude or limit our liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence and liability for fraud.
15.4 The game servers of the OriginSMP network may be modified, paused or closed. If the network closes permanently, we will give reasonable notice on the network's official channels and stop selling Products that can no longer be used. Products with a remaining paid period at that time are refunded proportionally.
16. Not affiliated with Mojang or Microsoft
NOT AN OFFICIAL MINECRAFT PRODUCT OR SERVICE. NOT APPROVED BY OR ASSOCIATED WITH MOJANG OR MICROSOFT. Minecraft is a trademark of Mojang AB. Other trademarks belong to their respective owners. Payments made on the Store go to Blocky Studios, not to Mojang or Microsoft.
17. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms, for example to reflect changes in the law or in the Store. The date at the top shows the latest version. The Terms that apply to an order are those in force when you place it. If we change the Terms of an active subscription in a way that affects you, we will tell you in advance and you may cancel before the change applies.
18. Law and disputes
18.1 These Terms are governed by Romanian law. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory rules of the law of the country where you live.
18.2 Disputes are settled by the competent courts of Romania. As a consumer, you may also bring proceedings in the courts of the country where you live.
18.3 Before going to court, please contact us so we can try to solve the problem. You can also contact the Romanian National Authority for Consumer Protection (ANPC, anpc.ro) or use an alternative dispute resolution entity, as described at anpc.ro/ce-este-sal.
18.4 If any part of these Terms is found invalid, the rest remains in force. If we do not enforce a right immediately, we do not waive it.
